The images below are radar images of the current precipitation (rainfall), The 1st image is of Europe and shows the current rainfall and lightning animated from 3 hours ago to the present time, the time of the animation is  1+ GMT. The 2nd image is zoomed to central UK and shows the rainfall animated from 3 hours ago to the present time, the time of the animation is  1+ GMT. The 3rd is another animated rainfall zoomed into Northants and surrounding counties. The 4th image is of the Atlantic and Europe showing a larger animated static image that can be animated, It should give you an idea as to where the precipitation is heading.
